If you’re overwhelmed by the relentless pace of life, you’re not alone. Let’s work collaboratively to enhance personal growth in the various dimensions of your life. Together we will build strategies to improve skills of emotional identification & regulation, soothing & reducing anxiety, mood stabilization, value-aligned decision making, cultivating a clearer view of self and repair & improve relationships. My approach is compassion centered using evidence based approaches including trauma focused CBT, DBT, CPT, ERP, mindfulness-based and somatic therapies and others.
Specialty areas of treatment include working with symptoms of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, maladapative perfectionism, burnout, and disordered eating in athletes. Additionally issues surrounding identity development, intra- and interpersonal relationship difficulties and various concerns faced by current and former athletes and student-athletes.
A passion of my practice is offering sports-related therapy with student-athletes in eastern Iowa. Click here to read more about sport-related therapy services.
