Sport-Related Services
Individual therapy sessions are available to student-athletes aged 16 and up, as well as former and current adult athletes. Group presentations and team workshops are also offered. Sessions address the unique mental and emotional health and wellness concerns experienced by student-athletes.
Issues explored in sessions include (but not limited to): changes in performance, motivation and/or energy levels; concerns with physical care—disrupted sleep, irregular eating behaviors, body changes, etc; reduced self-confidence in abilities as an athlete, student or other; problems in social or team relationships; changes in mood; managing and balancing demands; injury and recovery; transition out of sport and/or grief and loss.
